Japan Bank for International Cooperation signs MOU with IDB and ICD on enhancing cooperation, 26 September 2007

It is expected that these MOUs will lead to increased trade, investment and other business activities between Japan and IDB Member Countries through exchange of useful information, and thereby improve the investment climate among IDB Member Countries through infrastructure development. In addition, the MOUs are expected to help IDB and JBIC to effectively address economic and social development and poverty reduction in these Countries. JBIC will actively support Japanese business activities and economic and social development in IDB Member Countries by increasing cooperation with the IDB group.
These MOUs are expected to facilitate exchange of information on mutual operational strategies, economic and industrial conditions in the Member Countries and new projects, knowledge assistance, and consultation on cooperation in financing.
